Itinerary Disclaimer
PLEASE CHECK YOUR TRAVEL
DOCUMENTS WHEN YOU RECEIVE THEM. CALL US IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS.
SECURITY: Domestic travelers are required to carry a VALID Government issued ID
for the duration of their trip. International travelers must carry a VALID
Passport. Additional VISA & Health regulations may apply. You must comply with
all required documentation specific to your travel destination.
IMPORTANT: In the unusual event you arrive at an airline ticket counter with
your travel documents to find that the airline shows no reservation for you, DO
NOT LEAVE THE COUNTER. If you have a reservation on the flight in question, the
airline must accommodate you on that flight. If that is not possible, ask for a
substitute flight or compensation. If the problem persists ask to speak to a
supervisor or service manager. If on a domestic flight request to see their
'Conditions of Contract.' This document outlines a carrier's responsibilities.
DELAYED AND CANCELLED FLIGHTS (DOMESTIC)
· Airlines don't guarantee their schedules, and you should realize this when
you're planning your trip. There are many things that can and often do make it
impossible for flights to leave on time. Some of these problems, like bad
weather, air traffic delays and mechanical repairs, are hard to predict and
beyond the airline's control. Airlines generally will help stranded passengers
find alternate flights and may provide food and other basic amenities during
long waits at the airport. But they may not accept responsibility for other
kinds of expenses or losses that passengers incur when airline schedules aren't
met.
· Each airline has its own policies for delays. Ask to see their 'Conditions of
Contract'. If the delay is expected to last longer than four hours, most
airlines will:
· Arrange and pay for a hotel room if you are stranded overnight away from home.
· Pay cab or limousine fares between hotel and airport.
· Give you a voucher to buy food at an airport restaurant.
· If you are stranded by a long delay and the airline's staff can't or won't
help you, keep track of these kinds of out-of-pocket
expenses and write the airline's consumer office for possible reimbursement when
you get home.
OVERBOOKING (DOMESTIC)
· Voluntary: Most airlines over-book their flights to a certain extent and
passengers are often left behind or 'bumped' as a result. They may often
encourage people who aren't in a hurry to give up their seats voluntarily in
exchange for later flights and/or money and/or tickets.
· Involuntary: Please see 'IMPORTANT' section above.
FLIGHT RECONFIRMATION: Reconfirm your return flights or continuing flights, 4
hours for domestic and 72 hours for international. Failure to do so may result
in automatic cancellation of all continuing and return reservations.
HOTEL CONFIRMATIONS: Hotels are usually confirmed on a guaranteed payment basis.
If you cancel or change plans, please notify your hotel(s) by 4:00 PM local time
(unless otherwise stated) to avoid mandatory payment.
CHANGES
· If your plans change en route, apply the value of your ticket toward a
reissued one. It is not necessary to purchase a new ticket.
· If a refund is due, obtain a receipt from the airlines.
· Canceled or unused tickets, paper or electronic, must be returned to your
travel agent for proper credit. Lost, stolen or destroyed tickets must be paid
for until refund is received from the issuing carrier, subject to an
airline-imposed service charge.
· Above may not apply to penalty tickets.
SUBJECT TO CHANGE: These times, flights and fares are based on current tariffs
and schedules are subject to change without notice.
CHECK-IN TIME: Arrive at the airport well in advance of your flight time for
both domestic and international flights, as it may take more time to get through
airline ticketing and security. Please check with your airline for further
flight information before leaving for the airport. Minimum check-in for a
domestic flight is usually 1 hour and for an international flight 2 to 3 hours.
SERVICE CHARGES: We reserve the right to charge a processing fee in the event of
a refund, change or cancellation.
FREE BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE: Passengers are granted a free baggage allowance based
either on the number of bags, size or baggage weight. This depends on the
carrier(s), and/or destination(s). Excess baggage will be charged in accordance
with airline policy and will be carried subject to available space on the
aircraft.
WEBFARES: Unique restrictions apply; please see the exact rules from the
specific web vendor that originated your webfare ticket.
