Increase Profits
InsideAgent is a
point-of-sale system designed specifically for travel agents.
InsideAgent automates the booking process, while increasing
productivity and Insideing the agent's time to concentrate on the
customer. This is accomplished by using fill-in fields and mouse
selectable options. The system is intelligent, in that it will not
allow the user to proceed until all the relevant booking data is
present and accurate.
Reduce Training
Time
Should any information be
missing or inaccurate the system will alert the agent on the
specific items to correct. From this point forward, InsideAgent
will take over by initiating the proper CRS commands and assisting
the agent in navigating through the booking process.
Increase Sales
The heart of InsideAgent is
the Profile Management System. The Profile Management System not
only stores basic customer information, but more importantly,
stores information that is used by the other modules. The end
result is that the modules will talk to each other. For example,
if a complete profile exists and one has booked air, the car sale
could be as simple as clicking on a Sell Car option. InsideAgent
would know the travel dates (via the air reservation), the
preferred car company, car category, and personal options (from
the profile).
Increase
Productivity
The most significant
feature of the InsideAgent system is to increase productivity. The
car example above is quite obvious; however, the Cruise and Tour
Selling Systems are clearer examples. It is estimated that the
after work time to invoice and complete the paperwork and
accounting on a cruise sale is in excess of 25 minutes. With
InsideAgent, if an agent completes the relevant screens as they
speak with a cruise line, the cycle time would be less than one
minute. An added benefit is that in most cases prior to
InsideAgent the customer would leave the office with no paperwork
in hand. InsideAgent gives the customer a perfectly formatted
document, printed with all the relevant details regarding the
booking. MIRS Technologies is currently developing a Leisure
Shopper Selling System. The linkage of booking tours and cruises
via the CRS with InsideAgent will bring more significant
productivity gains.
Increase Accuracy
InsideAgent will increase
productivity, reduce errors to the back office system, reduce
training time, and shift emphasis from technology oriented agents
to sales agents. InsideAgent captures every sale made and can
trigger targeted direct mail by any category the agent chooses
(generating labels, form letters via DDE to a word processor, or
information to other databases).
